HealthCare QB...making healthcare simpler
My name is Dr Steve Fuller. I have developed this healthcare service to help patients understand their healthcare. I have been providing healthcare for patients for over 30 years primarily in family medicine clinics. My primary focus is the medication management of long-term (chronic) diseases which include diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, weight loss, pain and arthritis, asthma, and others. This includes understanding the lab values, radiology reports, and hospital discharge notes, and finding the correct medication to treat these conditions. During this time I have also spent much time educating physicians, nurse practitioners, and patients so they understand the medicines being used.
As a healthcare QB (quarterback), I help patients navigate the often confusing healthcare system so everyone on the team wins.
Education
Dr. Fuller started his education at Wake Forest University in chemistry and continued at the Medical College of Virginia where he received training in pharmacy. He received graduate training in pharmacy an completed a residency program which prepared him for his job as faculty at the Campbell University College of Pharmacy. Since that time he has received his Board Certification as an Ambulatory Care Pharmacotherapy expert and is a Clinical Pharmacy Practioner (CPP) licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board. He spends most of this time educating patients, students, and providers regarding medication therapy treatments for diabetes, weight loss, and cardiovascular disease. He has provided these services in clinics associated with Duke, Kaiser Permanente, and private practice clinics in the Raleigh , NC area.
